POWER AND PERFORMANCE

The 3.0L Hurricane straight-six twin turbo engine is the next evolution of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) technology. The firing order, number of main bearings, the crank design, all work together to deliver a smoother, more efficient, and more powerful powertrain. It's the most power-dense package RAM has ever offered. There's more power per litre than the supercharged alcohol-injected HEMI®-powered Dodge Demon 170 — along with the incredible torque on demand that inline designs are known for, as well as superior fuel economy. The foundation of the Hurricane engine is a deep-skirt cast-aluminium block with structural aluminium alloy oil pan. The strongest RAM engine ever uses cross-bolted steel main bearing caps to contain the robust rotating assembly of a forged-steel crankshaft and forged-steel connecting rods. During manufacturing, the block is deck-plate honed to optimize the cylinder bore shape, which helps improve fuel efficiency. Each turbocharger in the Hurricane straight-six twin-turbo feeds three cylinders. From a performance standpoint, two smaller turbochargers with less inertia spin up faster and deliver boost to the engine at lower rpm than a single, large turbo. The result? The Hurricane twin-turbo flexes its muscle with a broad, flat torque band that sees the engine maintain at least 90% of peak torque from 2,350 rpm all the way to its red line. Without a doubt, the Hurricane powertrain is the next evolution in the proud RAM tradition of power and performance.

The new 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel is reimagined with a modern, contemporary exterior design that represents the bold, heroic presence Ram is known for. The instantly recognisable exterior incorporates a sleeker, more aerodynamic appearance. A new, larger, forward-leaning grille takes boldness to another level. The iconic RAM grille on the front, and the prominent R-A-M badge on the rear makes a proud statement. The exterior design is finished with a host of unmistakably rugged accents for a unique off-road look, exclusive to the Rebel. These include a signature Rebel grille, sport performance hood, black powder-coated steel front and rear bumpers, black off-road fender flares, a raised ride height, rear Rebel decals, and more.
